We report on tonight’s scheduled execution of Doyle Lee Hamm for the 1987 murder of Cullman motel clerk Patrick Cunningham. We report on today’s Senate passage of a bill that would mandate nitrogen hypoxia as a third execution alternative in the state. We also report on a new bill that would raise the age to buy an assault weapon in Alabama from 18 to 21.
